In the early 1900's there was the Pentecostal Movement, in the 60's there was the Jesus Movement, in the 70's there was the Charismatic Movement, in the 80's there was the Faith Movement, in the 90's there was the Purpose Driven Movement, I believe it's time for a Movement of Love! Its time for churches that really love people to spring up! That's what God is doing in our new church. He's creating a Family of believers that really love people.
In our church, we show our love by ACCEPTING PEOPLE. A lot of new people are going to begin attending and we're going to love them and accept them.
You don't have to be perfect to attend our church. You don't have to wear a mask and pretend like you've got it all together. Nobody's got it all together! We accept people in our church; hurts, habits, hang-ups and all! If people can't find unconditional love in the church, where are they going to find it? I believe church should be a hospital for sinners, not a hotel for saints.
We accept people regardless of religious background or level of spiritual maturity. We have people with every kind of religious background joining our church. We've got former Catholics, Charismatics, Jews, Mormons, Baptists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, Nazarenes, Lutherans and people with no religious background at all! You name it, we've got it! But it really doesn't matter because IT'S NOT ABOUT RELIGION! The truth is God could care less about your religion because religion doesn't save anyone, get anyone to heaven.
WHAT MATTERS IS RELATIONSHIPS THAT LOVE. Developing a loving relationship with God and loving relationships with other people. It's about God's people, serving God's purposes, on God's planet, period.
Loving people don't judge other people; they encourage. That's the type of church God is creating here. Our dream is to be a church that unconditionally loves people just the way Jesus loves people.
We not a part of any religious denomination because you don't find them in the Bible; however we are part of the Purpose Driven network of churches, a movement of started by Saddleback Church in Lake Forrest, California.
If you're looking for a fresh start, a new beginning, relationships of love, I invite you to join us. There only one condition; YOU CAN'T BE PERFECT! If you're perfect, you've got it all together, you don't need to grow or improve in anyway; this is not the church for you. On the other hand; if you've got a few hurts, a few hang-ups, a few bad habits, maybe something from your past that you're not proud of, then "Come on down! This is the place for you!" Our new church is a place for people on the grow, people who want to change, people who need a fresh start with God, people who want a new beginning.
We're not a perfect church. The fact is, there are no perfect churches; if you ever find one, please don't join it! Because it won't be perfect anymore! We're not perfect but I believe we're headed in the right direction and I invite you to join us.
